New Canaan High School Football is one of the most storied programs in the Northeast. It started back in 1928 and the first game was played at Mead Park. Soon after, a stadium was built at Saxe Middle School called Stanley P. Mead Field, and in 1998 the very first game played under the lights at James Dunning Jr. Field @ Hawes Plaza.
The rich tradition of New Canaan Football continues to grow every fall.
Every player past and present had a part in making the program such a special experience for young men growing up in this great community.
NC RAMS FOOTBALL GOLF OUTING
Each year the NC Rams Football hosts a golf outing to support coaches’ salaries and collegiate scholarships for our graduating Rams. The event includes a great day of golf followed by drinks, dinner and fantastic live and silent auction opportunities.
The 2020 outing will be held on Monday, July 20th at Woodway Country Club. It will be a terrific day for reconnecting with alumni, meeting current Ram families and coaches…all while supporting our program!
Congratulations to 2019 grads Chad Herrmann, recipient of the Thomas F. Mazella Scholarship, J.R. Moore, recipient of the Brian Wilderman Scholarship and AJ Rakoczy, recipient of the Jason Cooper Scholarship.
