New Canaan High School Football is one of the most storied programs in the Northeast. It started back in 1928 and the first game was played at Mead Park. Soon after, a stadium was built at Saxe Middle School called Stanley P. Mead Field, and in 1998 the very first game played under the lights at James Dunning Jr. Field @ Hawes Plaza.
The rich tradition of New Canaan Football continues to grow every fall.
Every player past and present had a part in making the program such a special experience for young men growing up in this great community.
