Eric Stephens
Assistant Coach, Wide Receivers
Coach Stephens joined the New Canaan Rams coaching staff in 2019, working with the Wide Receivers. Stephens was born and raised in Stamford and attended Trinity Catholic High School. He was a two-time All-FCIAC selection and team captain for the Crusaders and was named the team’s Defensive Player of the Year. He was also a two-time All-FCIAC honoree and team captain in baseball before going on to play football at Southern Connecticut State University. After graduating with a B.S. in Sports Management with a Minor in Psychology, Coach Stephens embarked upon his professional career in education, first in the Stamford and Bridgeport Public Schools, then in his current role as a Special Education teacher in Norwalk. From 2013 until 2019, Stephens was an Assistant Coach at Trinity Catholic — all while earning his Masters in Education from Concordia University.
